The Vermeer 604 Pro G3 is a heavy-duty round
baler designed for high-moisture silage and dry
hay, featuring a 17-knife Xtracut system, 72-inch
camless pickup, and Atlas Pro control system.
Built in Pella, Iowa, it is optimized for
high-density, 6-foot-tall bales, featuring robust
components like a drop floor for easy unplugging,
making it a reliable, high-capacity machine for
challenging conditions.
Xtracut17 Chopper System: Features 17 knives to
pre-cut crops, improving bale density,
fermentation, silage quality, and digestibility,
which is particularly beneficial for reducing TMR
mixer time.
Hydroflex Control Floor: The floor continuously
adjusts to windrow size, minimizing blockages and
allowing for hydraulic lowering from the cab to
quickly clear plugs.
72-Inch Camless Wide Pickup: 5-bar camless design
reduces moving parts, wear, and maintenance,
offering quieter operation.
Atlas Pro Control System: A 7-inch color
touchscreen display allows operators to monitor
bale shape, density, and moisture, as well as
control knife selection and net tension from the
cab.
Wet/Heavy Crop Handling: Designed with heavy-duty
rollers, chains, and large bearings to handle
high-moisture, heavy crops.
Rear Net Wrap System: Designed for operator
