In May of 2024, WCTractor proudly welcomed the Nacogdoches store into its growing family of locations. While the name may be new, the team behind this store brings nearly a decade of dedication, experience, and a deeply rooted customer-first culture to the table.
Originally opened in April 2015 under the Hammer Equipment banner, the Nacogdoches store quickly made a name for itself in East Texas. Marcus McCann, who continues to serve as store manager, helped launch the location alongside long-time teammate Darrell, following their previous tenure at Eastex Tractor. Over the years, they’ve assembled a tight-knit crew known for its strong work ethic, transparency, and exceptional service.
“Our team is a great mix of youth and experience,” says Marcus. “It’s not often you see a parts manager, service manager, and two heavy-line techs all under 30 years old. That kind of energy and drive really sets us apart.”
The team's strength lies in its communication and camaraderie. Whether troubleshooting a service issue or catching up on each other’s personal lives, the Nacogdoches crew believes that honest conversation is key to working efficiently—and enjoying the job while doing it.
They’ve weathered industry shifts and economic uncertainty together, most notably during the COVID era, when they adapted from high inventory and fast-paced phone sales to navigating limited stock and shifting customer behavior. Through it all, their commitment to going above and beyond for customers never wavered.
Now operating under the WCTractor name, the Nacogdoches store is embracing new systems and procedures with optimism. “The transition brought a lot of change,” Marcus admits. “But I’m excited to see what we can accomplish in our first full year as part of WC. It’s a fresh start with strong roots.”
With a proven team, a loyal customer base, and a forward-looking approach, the Nacogdoches location is ready to continue delivering top-tier service—now backed by the full strength of the WCTractor family.
